QualSCORE was founded by Jason Cragholm as the first fully systematized solution for the cannabis industry to measure and track quality and customer happiness.
Jason grew up in Lafayette, California, a small, quiet town in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area and the California cannabis movement. After studying business marketing at school in Las Vegas, Nevada, he moved back to the Bay Area and became the Director of Sales and Marketing for a leading residential and commercial painting company. It was during this time that he realized the importance of quality and customer service to business growth.
His interest in quality and customer satisfaction led him to American Ratings Company, a leading consumer brand in the San Francisco Bay area offering the Diamond Certified rating and specializing in branding, quality ratings, and marketing for B2C companies in the home, auto, professional, and health industries.
During his tenure representing the Diamond Certified brand, Jason developed deep knowledge and gained extensive experience in branding, customer feedback, satisfaction surveys, quality ratings, market research, and marketing. He took that experience with him to a new position to learn more about software automation with Customer Lobby, a technology leader in retention marketing and customer reviews, specializing in marketing automation, software integrations, and data analysis for B2B companies in the home and auto services space.
Throughout his nearly 15-year career in quality, customer feedback, software, sales, and marketing while working for two leading brands, Jason successfully built and launched a consumer neighborhood contractor watch app to help local consumers with complaint resolution in the home improvement industry. Soon, his creative, entrepreneurial mind led him to merge his love of helping businesses and consumers resolve complaints and improve quality and happiness with an industry he saw growing rapidly around him – cannabis.
The cannabis industry is growing rapidly, but it’s extremely difficult for businesses and brands to differentiate themselves from competitors. It’s equally difficult for consumers to find the best businesses and brands to buy from. Jason decided to bring his expertise in quality, customer feedback, and marketing to the cannabis industry, and QualSCORE was born.
In his spare time, when he's not helping local businesses or consumers, you can find him enjoying golf with his dad at Claremont Country Club in Oakland, California or coaching youth basketball at Orinda Intermediate School.
